I have no problems with "copy cats" I am sure others have done similar upgrades. Might be time to look into Rob Budds new carpt sets it is not a hard job to do and it wakes up the whole interior.

Came over after looking at the body and engine. VERY NICE. A straight resto has its place, but when you really want to say this is MY CAR, you gotta color outside the lines.

s928s,
I really like how the gauge bezels in the pod turned out. Would you mind sharing how you did those, or the source?
Were they custom made (e.g., flat "wire", cut to give appropriate diameter, joined, ...)?
Or is there a ready source that carries these? They do not look like the Jag Engineering ones, which are the best ones I have seen that are readily available, but still not quite what I am looking for.
Thank you, in advance!

Carlos,
Thanks for resurecting the old thread.. !!!
The gague ringes wer purchsed several years ago from a compoany in Germany. They were on e-bay and I cannot remember the name. They are similare to the ones Nicole sells. They are aluminum not plastic and fit tightly into the trim opening, no glue required. The bezel plate is the origonal one that was painted to match the other gray interior trim. You just need to R/R the cluster, remove the gague plate and carfully cut the glue for the lense.

Thank you Nicole and David.
David, if you can dig up the e-bay company, that would be great, in case they are still around - but I understand it was a long time back.
Nicole, those are nice looking gauge bezels - I will consider them as well - PM sent!
