I like it. My other other car is a 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5. Funny, but there are some serious similarities. The resto-mod path you chose is very narrow and usually only accomodates ONE. Good to see some one with the BALL BEARINGS to have a dream and pull it off. Well Done!

I have to give it a couple good hot runs to see. Will hit the dyno when the fine tuning is done.

why on earth would you powdercoat the girdle? I assume the mating surface to the block and pan were both masked prior?

personal choice I guess ! And yes it was masked off.

well if it looks like that its fine, obviously the inside hasnt been touched which is good

I really dislike those wheels but on this car they somehow match.....
