I may take a few more pictures tomorrow with the car outside. The light in the garage doesn't work so well.

Now we have to do something to integrate those door inserts
I'm thinking rear seats too.

We did talk about that, but I didn't want to push it
Weren't we supposed to mention the name of the real owner

But in the mean time anyway, the color match seems pretty good.

I'll send them to you when I get 'round to doing the rear A/C delete.

I didn't say they were my seats.

But, for the record, CarChickZ06 has claimed these seats as her anniversary present.

Seeing as how SITM always falls on our anniversary, I guess it's fair compensation. Last year she got the supercharger. This year the seats.

No complaints here. I think the rear seats are a little faded and just-ever-so-slightly lighter. Buy I have to put on my "Afshin Glasses" to tell

I'll e-mail you full-resolution pictures once I've decided that I've taken all that I'm going to take.

I didn't say anything before but I think carchick is slowly claiming the GT. She seemed to be dropping hints of wanting a faster car last time I was there and now all the pieces of the puzzle are coming together, she's letting you finish the car for her before she takes the keys.

Ok. Just got back from sitting in the seats for a half-hour or so. Comfy. Very comfy. I'm going back and taking a blanket. See you folks in the morning...

I love the detail...exceptional craftsmanship Paul. Dave, forget the blanket...those seats are so inviting I would just move in!

Paul,

I've long admired your work and hope to one day be able to send you my seats.

Have you done any two-tone seats on the 928 and if so can you post pics?

I like the look of these Aston seats and think the color combo would look great in my black S4.

Mike

I didn't actually care for them until I saw the picture of them in the car. Now I am sold, though.

Hey Mike,

I haven't done 2-tone in that sense. I have mostly worked with dual textures instead of contrasting colors. But I am certainly not against it.

I am currently working on a new type of seam for seats that should modernize the look of our seats even further, and it would actually look perfect with contrasting color inserts.

I love Aston Martin interiors. Along with Bentley, they are a great inspiration of mine.

Simply gorgeous work; I'll keep that in mind when the interior gets redone in the spring.
