Before I leave to buy everything I inspected the engine bay for 3 hours. Most of it is old age. The rad looks like it was changed. I don't want to trust it though. The alternator is brand new though. Here's the other problems:
Hmmm I don't know why the injector isn't connected. At least the pin is still there.
About the leaks around the manifold. I'm assuming this "sharkvent" canister should solve this right?
The power steering resevoir or lines could be leaking. It sure seems like it sprayed around or leaked around the area. It taste like powersteering also.
I'm not sure if he couldn't find where this connects but do these 2 connect together?

You ae a brave man! Very brave...
To bring this car back to reasonable condition will cost you more than it would have to buy a well maintanied one in decent condition.
I would have classified this as a parts car, nothing more.

I have to disagree with most. I have seen far worse. I don't think we can judge things from a couple photo's and call it a basket case. Some engine cleaner, vacuum hoses and connecting some wires and it might be a driver day one. Interior needs more than just a cleaning but can be chipped away at. Good vacuum and some armor will do wonders. Then floor mats and cheap Generic beige leather racing seats from Summit and she'd be just fine. Plus it has an S4 spoiler.. Not every car has to become a concours queen to be fun to drive and get smiles at the drive in.
It'll take some work, but I see it as far from a "Parts Car". I guess once you build a 928 engine from the ground up things look a lot easier from then on. 4 years ago, I might have run away, especially if I listened to the "Nay Sayers".
MTNKING, Welcome the forum. PM anytime for help. I don't know much, but I know people who do.

Thats a great start - a good clean of the engine bay, fixed connections and some cheap silicone hose for the vacuum lines and manifold connectors, a timing belt, plus whatever's behind the fuel issue, and it'll run.
Next things I'd tackle before you get too stuck into mechanical work are:
Clean the whole interior with a damp sponge (use some dish washing soap in the water - Morning Fresh or whatever its called in the USA). Then apply some leather restorer to all the leather bits (seats, console, dash, headliner (may be leahter), a-pillars etc.
Once its clean enough to stick your head down there without catching the plague, go through the electric panel and clean the contacts on all the relays and fuses, as well as the ground points behind there.
Then clean the ground points everywhere else on the car, and clean the engine bay too. Cleaning the fuses, grounds and relays will help get rid of a lot of potential gremlins and make troubleshooting easier
You might even find that the fuelling issue is something as simple as a relay or fuse (not uncommon on non-running rescued 928s).

+1 on what Hilton said.
Probably better to pull the panel out.
Held only by the two top bolts, and a pair of plastic locator fingers into brackets on the floor. Remove bolts, remove bottom plugs, pivot forward and lift. ( will then have to unplug a couple more items, then remove two ground wire studs above.)
Panel should look almost exactly like the picture
Plugs across the bottom are labeled (for the most part) left to right with letters.
Exception is the smaller Z plug (alarm plug), located out of sequence, just to the right of center.
Colors of plug coincide with color of the fusebox section it plugs into.
Fuses are VW style. We can tell you the fuse amperage left - right when you are ready.
