Crazedlist.org is what I use. I do that to get an initial list of searches as rss feeds, then import those into Shrook on my Macbook as a high volume rss scanner. That covers all craigslists (at the time of the import) in about 5 minutes and gives me a nice concise list of new listings.

This is one of those situations where even if a "rule" is created (which I can't see IB doing as trying to enforce it would be cost prohibitive - think how many forum sections there are on RL), there will always be people who post up the odd single for-sale car, whether seen on craiglist, cars.com, their local newspaper, or ebay.
I don't see any "solution" to this working - the most workable would be something like creating a separate sub-forum for "928 screaming deals", and even that will not always be used.
Just learn not to read all the threads, and if you're finding the forum annoying, go do something more productive with your time than sitting at your PC being annoyed

I finally voted on this thread because you've started 15 + threads in the last 2 weeks on cars for sale and its getting annoying.... you've started 44 threads and 20 of them are for cars for sale... While I agree that some of this info may be valuable, most have been on Craigslist or ebay.. anyone looking for a car that can't find them on CL or ebay deserves to miss out...
and your comment about not clicking on it if you aren't interested... well thats ok if you don't litter the 928 forum with threads about cars for sale and the half the threads on the 1st page of the forum are for cars that you aren't interested in...
you asked for feedback.

Ok, Since you're panties are in a bunch about me posting what I thought were interesting cars, and what I thought the democratic RL masses wanted, I will not post another shark for sale on RL. (unless it's one of my own). The last car I randomly posted before yesterday was on the 24th. If there was another in there, it was in direct reply to someone looking for a specific car. I'm just trying to help out. I enjoy searching for 928's. I REALLY LIKE THEM. I'm interested in every 928 out there. If I had a wherehouse and unlimited funds, I'd buy EVERY SINGLE ONE I COULD. I like saving them whenever I can. I like my friends to have the resources I could provide. I ran a poll to see what people thought. I think the poll covered all the bases. It sure looked to me like people wanted me to keep posting. The posts I made yesterday were on the 8th... Now I don't know if you know how to count or not, but that is two weeks BETWEEN posts about a car for sale. Show me the 15+ cars for sale in the last TWO weeks. If you'll notice, I liked to post cars for sale on Fridays so if someone is interested they can check it out on the weekend. I also noticed that a lot of new listings occur on Fridays for some reason. Well there won't be any more. I'll just ask my technical questions and be careful what I might post cause someone might get annoyed. I don't want to be BANNED from a resource such as rennlist for doing what I thought was a service. I'll just keep the info to myself from now on.
And for those that are flying the "this is a technical forum" flag, are all guilty of posting something non-technical at one point. Mason of 928Worldwide and his ducking save has much less to do with (actually NOTHING to do with) 928's than me posting about 928's that most of us are intersted in... Nuff Said.

So the Annoyed few won?
If this place was strictly a technical forum half the posts would disappear.
I thought it was a 928 discussion forum, surely cars for sell should fall under this.
Are you telling me you only look at the first page and that is why you are hurt there are "cars for sale"
ads.
When I got back on here after a long break from the drama. What did I find the whole place was full of more drama involving one of the most outsproken people on this post and how they were taking their toys and going home and not coming back so........
Maybe you should just not read them and let the masses speak that's what the POLL states

If it is to be put in a combined thread, then it needs to be stickied to the top of the forum. A lot of guys buy the cars others find and post about.
Personally it doesn't bother me, don't click on the thread if it doesn't interest you.

Perhaps its about exciting competition for any given car, not reading clutter.
The same $2000 TLC-needed almost runners are the ones being exploited for $5-10K for parts.
Us hobbyists should post the hell of them and get them into each others hands. More running than parting would be the objective. Anybody can part one. Hell, I have the space to part 6 at once and to open a business doing it overnight. But I won't.
All Sterling is saying is why not group them up instead of clutter the forum. I agree. Or start a separate 928 threaded subforum for it.

From: In the boatyard installing the mast and engine, we don't need a crane, we harness the mesquito's! Yeah!
Take a serious look at what happens to the cars that meteor grey and others post - will ya...
Quite a few are purchased by those of us saving these cars!
"this should be a 928 technical forum only"
Hey kettle - looking a bit black today are we...
It seems the majority agree with posting individual cars...
Puleeze - Keep it up!

Guys-
The cars I part out are NOT SELLING. I try to save them, I spend time AND money- but they don't sell. Ask the locals around here who visit me regularly, they've watched me try to save and sell the 928's. Being that I'm a business and it has to turn inventory, if I keep trying to fix and clean up cars that just won't sell, that's the definition of insanity. I am not insane, nor do I have a "warehouse" or "endless money". If someone can make $10,000 parting a $1,000 928, you're a legend in my mind. Or even my hero. So I got wise to that loss of money from trying to save these cars and resolved to stop saving them. I have yet to encounter a single car that needed less than $1000 of work and one week to make a $1000 on top of that, or even close to this.....What is wrong with making a living, saving people BIG MONEY on average, AND enhancing OVERALL the value of the 928 by reducing the amount of units for sale.
If you own a 928- maybe be thankful that guys part these cars out, because every time I take one off the road, the chance of this market turning around even just a hair is increased by one car. There are cars that just don't need to be on the road IMO. They belong on the shelf, helping other cars stay running. My opinion is that the 928 was produced in very large numbers, especially the pre 87 cars....there is no "endangered species" concern for this shark. Now the 911 Turbo, the 944 Turbo, the 356, the 993 series, and others- these are different. There aren't 1000's of them for dirt cheap for a reason. The 928 NEEDS GUYS THAT TAKE THEM OUT, or the price of this car will stay in the DUMP. If someone wants to compete with me to take sharks off the market, GOOD. No complaints here.... Stops the bleeding of the value.... and that's GREAT for everyone.

What the hell does this drivel have to do with posting adverts?
I think there should be a rule requiring separate threads for unrelated topics
