Default dustless brake pads?

OK...this spring project is refinishing my 86.5 dish wheels. I would like to avoid immediately blackening the freshly, shiny wheels with brake dust. Dust cakes deep inside those little slots that my hands can't fit inside. Keeping the wheels looking decent has been almost impossible.

Are there satisfactory dustless brake pads for P cars? Any experiences?

I think the answer to your question is "no". You can put a couple of coats of Rejex on them as a last step(follow the instructions carefully, especially regarding heat and moisture during cure) and they will shed brake dust for the most part -- what remains will be easy to hose off, but you should probably give the a thorough clean and re-application every 6-9 months.

Usual wisdom on brake pads is:

Fade-resistance, Noise, Dust - pick no more than 2

Just in case -- I meant put Rejex on the wheels, not the pads.

I fought the same battle with my BMW's honeycomb wheels. Went to Mintex "low dust" pads, (D1131MTX), very happy with the results. Don't know off the top of my head if they have them for the 928 but I would guess they do.

put the pads in backward, but the noise might be irritating.
