Default Looking for a GTS??

No affiliation I was looking at the RUF site for spacers for my C2 when I came across this:

http://inventory.rufautocentre.com/c...93813&d_id=947

Figured someone might like it or take a look. I really like the interior I wish mine had the black carpet and cashmere seats.

Best luck to anyone if they buy it.

Hope it isn't an Enzo.

"The 928 GTS is one of the most sought after models of the 928 produced by Porsche."

Hmmm... ok. Sounds good to me.

OT: I was thinking.... imagine what a RUF-built 928 would have been like?

I would not have a GTS

Unless it was Blue..........................

I wonder why RUF never did anything with the 928's?

Phew!!!

Anthony when I saw your post I thought you might be selling. I'm glad you're not.

Hope all is well!

Leslie and Kevin were sounding like they might be up for a GTG/Fun drive sometime soon, I'll let you know if we put something together.

You're new here. You don't know the history of The Great 928 Forced-Induction World Wars. It wasn't pretty. Lots of casualties. Any time you run across an old thread and see that a poster has been banned there's about an 80% chance that the poster was a casualty in GFIWW-I, II, or III.

Dunno. If I had to make a bet, then I'd bet on numbers. Way more 911s, 986s, etc. than 928s. Pure numbers. Numbers multiplied by market penetration and target price. Then divided by R&D cost.

I think Mark Anderson probably has the closest thing to a "RUF-928" I've ever seen. The last time he built it up he started with the bare acid-dipped shell with the welded-in roll cage. AFAIK, that's where RUF starts too. (Maybe not with the acid though...)

RUF didn't do acid?

Mark Anderson's picture (In the Save Leeeroy thread) of his 928 tub in white looks like a chassis made of marzipan. Much stronger tho and less sweet.

I LOVE this car! The deviating carpets, the wood and all the colors work so well. Nice car at a decent price...

That's why it's called a "Body in White"

928 500 901 08

Wonder if it's NLA.

Anybody got the ***** to check on the price?

The wood shifter and tan floor mats look out of place to me. Especially since the window sticker says black porsche mats. But hey, what do I know, I like my Classic Gray interior.
