....please be careful about posting stuff like this. The VIN tag looks exactly like the one on my 95 and it's not had any paint work. I don't see the difference in paint color door to fender or anywhere else in any pictures either? Are we looking for something that's not there?

Ruf deleted a post about this car after Sean posted about paint work on the thread? Unless we know something for sure about paint work on this car we should refrain from speculation as it could really devalue a particular car for sale.

Anybody have conclusive proof?

I would have to agree.

My Vin number looks the same. I am also sure that Ruf has too much at stake to try to cover anything up. If they are aware of an issue i am sure they would disclose it. Digital photography can play tricks and using a picture on the internet would be nothing more than speculation.

This car looks nice to me. If I were in the market and it were a 5 speed I would be checking it out now and never would have posted .

Note that I'm not pointing out anything with reference to overspray because I do not see any. I simply thought that the passenger side door looked darker. Just an observation which I wouldn't retract. Camera's can play funny tricks when posting pictures and you can see that very clearly even on my GT which changes color depending on angle.

More of a due diligence type comment than anything which I would state to anyone.

If we want to nitpick it appears the right rear hatch spacer is also missing, but thats an easy fix.

Overall this car appears to be in very very nice condition and the exterior/interior may pass for concours if condition verifies in person.

Anyone interested can have the Paint measured, we did and it checked out fine

RUF has some affiliation with 928's - look at my avatar for the RUF steering wheel.

Maybe I am the only one in the world with one of these? If so the car just doubled in price (either that or the steering wheel is more valuable than the rest of the car).
