Thanks Dave. It's not at the critical stage yet but if production takes too long to get underway I'd like to call dibs on the parts you speak of. I have had to replace one broken plastic nipple since getting the radiator, it is my belief it broke due to the pressure the hood puts on the vent hose. It's funny that just last week I was trying to think of a good solution to this problem area. Glad I am not alone in this.

I believe it was an attempt to use a produciton piece rather than a custom one.

Bill, I have the hose section, the used nipple that I pulled off, and a new nipple that was used as a reference for the fabrication. Just let me know!

It sounds like there is still a clearance issue with the blue elbow... anyone else having issues with that?

Dave, I have a machine that can run those in one setup, if you are interested in a production run. I am about an hour south of you...

Steve, thanks for the offer but this is my brothers' design(based on my requirements). I'd like to see him take first right of refusal on this, but he JUST married less than two weeks ago(he literally handed me this part on his wedding day) and is still sort of in honeymoon mode. I'll keep trying to get in touch with him.

Dave, no problem- I had the impression your brother didn't do production. Nice job on the prototype!

I think you are correct, I probably could turn it a couple of more degrees. And I will look at that. This pic was right after the install.

I know I have "0" clearance between that fitting and the hood, but also my rad. sits at least 1/4" more toward the front of the car than stock because of the SC. (Making my clearance even closer)

I could use one of those, subject to pricing.

My brother does CNC work into the thousands, but also does very short-run prototype stuff. He likes solving unique problems that others won't touch because they won't see orders in the tens or hundreds of thousands.

This wasn't meant to be a product announcement, more of a "Hey, look at this neat gizmo that solved a problem that's been bugging me". So, we didn't have a plan for moving forward with it. I told him not to be surprised if others are interested, that was when he told me he would want to reconsider the design for manufacturing in quantity. He's going to work up some pricing for different quantities, but is currently a bit tied up finishing up client work before he leaves on a 4-week trip to Oz. He may or may not be able to get those numbers before he leaves. Worst case, he should be able to jump on this 2nd week of May.

Bill, send me a PM if you want me to proactively send those parts in case something goes FUBAR on you again.
