Andre,

It is possible, heck anything is.
But what Erkka is eluding at is that the 968 Turbo RS had a different type of box. probably looked more like a G31, or even the 924GTS/GTR box which was an UBER strong 4 speed.

The owner responded and said that pump and compressor are one and the same, and are for the power steering. I guess the magazine got that mixed-up.

The shift pattern is standard

The torque tube is a custom design

Both the mounting of the engine and the rear axle were modified.

If the shifting pattern is standard 928 Pattern then it is a getrag style of box, it will be similar to the G31 snailshell.

He did not specify the pattern, only said it's a regular shift pattern, not sequential.
