That would be an incredible recourse.

Does anyone have a link to Jim's CD's?

Thanks.

This note is from First Time thread at top of thread starter
"Jim Morehouse has gone to an incredible amount of trouble - and quite a bit of expense - to gather a HUGE amount of 928 tech info, have it professionally scanned, made into pdf files, and burned onto CDs. This includes the Factory Workshop Manuals. You can contact Jim by email at jim928@ptd.net"

I just looked at mine again, there really is so much more than just the WSM and the PET.
to give a idea of how much more there is, the PET and the WSM take up 1010 MB of information on them, the rest has 1831 MB worth.

Well worth what Jim charges for them.

What is the filename on Jim's CD set? I have both his WSM and Tech Doc CDs copied to my hard drive and I don't see any video...

The file for that video (there are others) is "32v head and cam RandR.mpg". It is on CD 2. I think that there are four CDs.

OK, I found it on the CD. I removed that and the holbert vid from my hard drive on the old computer since collectively they took up ~430MB, and by the time I copied things over to the new system I had forgotten.

I downloaded the vid linked in the first post, and compared it to the one provided by Jim. The .flv file is ~68MB and is of better quality(not so many wavy lines).

So... again, thanks for posting it.

I just realized that the heads use bolts, aren't the 85-86 cars supposed to have studs?
