Default FS Dual Snorkel Intake

Dual Snorkel Intake set up, cold air is picked up in front of the A/C condenser. Made from fiberglass. Read more here: http://www.kuhnperformance.com/components.php
The snouts are fastened to the radiator shroud so you get everything in the photo. (Left and right snout have slight paint scratch from hood lip)
Will fit all years $350.00 You will need to change the condenser fan to a 12” –Also FS $75. made by Perma-Cool.
I can deliver in the NYC tri state area.
PM me if interested.

Before anyone asks the reason why I have to part with this piece is because I added two more coolers in front of the radiator. Intake air would now be preheated if I were to continue using them.
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
Are these the high flow filters?

Also, AT owners will need to modify the trans cooler (lower it) for the air filters to fit.

KN air filters used on my S/C. Originally designed for turbo set up. I dynoed 405HP with and without the filters so I can tell ya they are not a restriction.
Don't know about auto as mine is an MT. The do clear the A/C condenser, that is the snouts are not laying on the condenser for support, if that helps.

Thanks, when I had previously emailed John he told me the auto trans cooler would have to be modified for the air filters to fit.

And that might be true. Need to move down the ATM cooler. I would put a heat deflector shield over the top of the ATM cooler. That way heat coming off the cooler would not be ingested into the air filters during long periods of idle.

That is probably exactly what your car needs. Good score and I hope it works out.

Snorkels fit N/A engine. Just remove the flex hose and connect the OEM air tubes.

YES! (I saw it at the dyno day last year and thought it was very cool!).

Hey Tony, PM sent.

BTW- I think this would be a great setup for the '85-'86 intakes with a wye or tee at the MAF, similar to the Blackbird setup since the filters for DRs blackbird won't work in the S3.

I agree, already discussed this with John and is one of the thought processes I have for the 85-85 and 16V.

Nice setup at a great price. IMHO, One of the SuperModel guys should have already snagged this and adapted it.
