FYI, this part might be a perfect match for the 85-86 and your new setup.

hmmmm. Do you have a piece price for that or is it part of a kit?

I think they are about $30 last I checked. Requires a little trimming of the lower 1/2" to fit the 928 MAF. But once you do that you can use the original rubber coupler between the MAF and your Factory Air Box to attach it. VERY EASY! Outlet ID would be perfect for the smaller diameter 85-85 air Tubes needed to clear the intake.

Mike,
Good catch. I have the same intake on order from John Kuhn. Mine is going on an Eaton SC so, as DR said, a little modification will be necessary. Right know I am working on a fiberglass plenum that will sit right behind the radiator. I will be anxious to compare our installs.
Good luck, Ralph

Thanks!

Mine will be nothing like yours, since mine is going to remain NA for now, so basically stock (with a few other mods in place).

I would like to see how you deal with it though.

Mike,
I, too, would like to see how I am going to deal with it. Right now it is in the brain damage stage.
