Those old 2 strokes for being over 25 years old ran some good
ET for their time.My stock 500cc ran 7.60's in the 1/8 mile
Hanging on to an old 2 stroke ride running mid 7's in the 1/8th mile
is a way different feel than just sitting in the seat of a supercharged car
running close to the same.

Default NC30 (baby RC30)

Not as potent as the VFR750R, but maybe as rare. Here is my former bike, 1990 Honda VFR400R (NC30). I sold it last year... :-(

Here's my '87 FZR 1000.

Much like for the 928's, Mercedes Coupes and GTVs, it's one of those sentimental things from my youth. It was the Yamaha to have when I was a teenager, and when a few years ago I came across an unmolested, all original (aside from the exhaust, which I have the original part for) low mileage example I just had to have it. 26 years old and still gives me a big *** grin every time I twist the handle. Just like the 928's...and the Mercedes...and the GTV...

Wow Nice. I had an 88 in the early 90's. Same colors. Favorite bike I ever had. Built a Formula USA motor for it, and got in lots of trouble with it. FZR 1000s still look good today, at least to me.
