Franken-Shark has a new girlfriend
Some of you may recognize this car from Tass's tech gathering last year... Through an odd turn of events, it just swam into our driveway about two hours ago.
Ain't she a beauty?
Ok, she didn't swim here on her own....she had a little navigational guidance.
Big thanks to the previous owner, Xvetteowner (X928owner?
), for being crazy enough to sell the car, especially for the price he let it go. Dude ... 
Also more big thanks to the 928 Baron of the Northeast (OBehave)
and Tass 
for advising us of the car's esteemed history prior to that. We really lucked out on this one, it looks like.Oh yeah.....almost forgot.
89 S4 automatic.

PS....from the mumblings I've heard around here....it sounds like it will be disassembled as soon as he gets the other one done.

I keep hearing little snippets out of this running monologue I now live with. It's like a living breathing speaking whirlwind list of car stuff, but it's kind of hard to understand all of it.
I think I've caught "DMV" and "RMB" and "wheels" and "battery" (I might have even heard something about a battery being too small too -- I don't suppose he was maybe talking about his flashlight? ....nah.) and "tomorrow," so if that's anything to go by, it sounds like it will be a busy day around here starting early in the morning manana.
Oh, and he has already fixed the tach....before he even got it in the driveway after taking it off the trailer in the street.
Well, everybody knows that the quickest and most direct path into a driveway that is 5 feet from your passenger door is via a 60 mph U-turn at the corner 150 feet away. Right?
Oh, and holy s^#*....the trunk release even works on this one! Been a long time since one of those buggers worked around here.
My daughter asked me, when she first saw it this evening, if we had somehow gotten a brand new 928. That was perfect.

Good Job!! Looks real clean.Only problem is those wheels look gheyor maybe to bling bling yo!.Toss them out.And tell Kevin these cars are more fun to drive then they are to disassemble.
