Will GTS prices hit a new high?
Don't think this is an ENZO but Michael has a new $$ I have not seen on GTS's before.
He has it listed as 6000 miles although the registry shows it closer to 6700. In either case opinions on if this car will fetch this $$ in this economy.

IMO a car like that should be offered at a real auction.

He's had that one on hand for a while me thinks.

Scratch that, I thought it was 1 of 2 black ones he's had in inventory for a while.

Michael has some great stuff but he is DREAMING on that price on that car! NO WAY it will even get a single bid. I think he got it (and it was brought up here a few times) for under $75k...that is still ALL the money for a GTS, but $100kish! DREAM ON!

the right car the right buyer can do some amazing things. I know of one 94 turbo that brought well over $250k but I can't talk about that one in public.

It seems to me that some people forget that this is still just a car. For $100k you could get a much better, newer and more powerful car than a '94 GTS. Would you get the GTS, or would you get this (first thing that came up on my search):

I love 928's but sorry, I would take the 14 years newer Aston for the same price.

This GTS is a collector car and not a driver. The Aston's are dime a dozen today and when you think of what they sold for new. all I can say is Ouch.

Stunning color combo...same as Chucks old 95.....but $97,500 for a 94......even in this condition with only 6k miles....in this economy...I don't think so...... Chuck didn't get anywhere near this amount for his pristine 95....& thats a 95!!!
I have no doubts this GTS is as stunning as it appears.....but I really don't think he could even get $70k for it in this economy...... However....I do think it would be a "bargain" for $50k

he's dreaming, even if the economy wasn't in the pooper.
wish his description would say something more than "blue" He has all the original paperwork. anyone know the specific color name?
plus, I wouldn't say protective side mouldings are a desirable option. My '88 S4 was an original moulding delete, and I wish my GTS had them deleted as well. I would think that most buyers for this caliber of car want it original with all the proper options.
Hope he finds that needle in the haystack, though. It is a beautiful car.

I have said it before and when it comes to these cars i see no reason why a 95 should bring much more than a 94 or 93 for that fact. 1 of 406 is still one of the rarer production Porsche's ever made.
Hell I know of a 94 turbo with 40k miles on it that sold for $75k a month ago and I am still being offered better than that for mine with nearly 40k miles. I would easily pay $70k for this car if I already didn't have a wonderful example myself. I have no need for another show car so I prefer to stay with my driver.
I find the attitude of this board bewildering sometimes. We all love these cars but aren't willing to see the value in them. These are no longer super fast but they are classic and far better build quality than anything I see on the road today. If a 210hp 73RS with matching number can bring a half a million what makes the 928 that much less of a car that it can't surpass MSRP when it is so well preserved as this one is?
I for one hopes he gets it.
