The WSM, all the spec books and much much more are available on CD from Jim Moorhouse in the USA.

Perhaps John Speake, http://www.jdsporsche.com/index.html, can source them for you in snowy England.

Those are bootlegs -- If you get the CD set from the guy who created them you'll get lots of tech docs and updates that fill in the gaps. Plus, if the guy who did the work gets some compensation for his efforts he'll be more inclined to finish his updates -- which he as offered as a no-cost for people who paid(at least that was the deal a while back).

I got the hard bound set. I just like it better than flipping though slow downloads on my slow computer.

I've found that I use the books way more than the CD's now, especially now that I can say to myself what volume/chapter I need to look in. It would take me way longer to find it on the CD.

Oh, I agree, Jim spent many hundreds of hours putting together these CD's and it irritates me to see how many people are just copying them and selling them.

Do the right thing.

I spent years with the CD's (thank you JM!)
And the last year with the hard bound manuals (thank you George!)
One of the main differences is the breast of what is offered on both - the WSM's are very limited in their in depth knowledge.... While JM made a point of providing accurate information for the hardest task - ie.. the videos. While you may only watch them once (and i did years ago...) They are a life saver for the first timer!
Yes - both are great - but...
One is completely covered in the other...
JM has every single thing ever written in one set...
You can spend your time chasing down poor copies, or you can spend a little and get the originals...
Just sayin....

Its the ancilliary information on the Morehouse CD set that is extremely valuable to me.

I've found the technical service documents are extremely useful.
