Doesn't Wilhoit have an Adventurine Green/Grey GTS fs right now?

http://www.willhoitenterprises.com/car314.htm

Although it doesn't appear to have the wavy molding option.

Not the same car, but interesting that two GTSs with Adventurine Green & Grey colors are for sale at the same time?

Man B-J need to get their $hit together! There is at least SOMETHING wrong (A LOT???) with EACH of those ads! Even a 928 newbie ought to pick up on...

Cassis Red...All they had to do was read the damn paint sticker in the door jamb! IDIOTS!

Every option???? Wood anyone??? Wide body...uh YEA RIGHT! Freaking FOOLS!

Roger - are you sure that GTS is a Euro? To me, it looks like one of those imported from Japan. Specifically, note the front fender flares that were required in Japan, IIRC. Ditto for the additional protective molding along the trailing edge of the rear flares.

I had the privilege of attending this event back in the late 1990's. That was one fun day, and well worth the trip. They have some really, really nice cars . . .

Now if I had only had money to purchase a few . . .

Saw the white with red interior 5 spd 89 GT go for $22K. Had yellow calipers, turbo look wheels, silver painted cam covers and intake, and aftermarket stereo.

Hi Jarrod,
You are right if thats the car. The only picture I could see was the one of the interior with the headlight adjutment **** and the statement that it had covered X Kilometers. Thats what led me to beleive it was a Euro.

That's the car, and it is indeed a Japan-market car. I suspect those silly flares are where that "ultra-rare factory widebody" nonsense came from.

Go to B-J's website, click on Scottsdale, then select "all days" (the GTS comes up on Jan-15), find the car then click on the little picture for more details. Have lunch while the page loads and there will be some additional pictures. The site is glacially slow, it waits until you give up to finally show something.

Cheers,

I talked with the owner of 2 of these 928s earlier this week. His detailer called us with a rush order for some parts to make them "perfect" before they shipped out to the auction this coming Monday.

Don't want to discuss his personal business in detail, but he seemed to be a 928 enthusiast (and super nice guy) and was selling 2 of them to fund a "special" 928. Can't say anymore than that at the moment.
