FWIW, if you have rubbing issues with ET50 fronts, either you running larger the 225 or your ride height is too low, or the combination. 165mm yeilds no rubbing on 225's with ET50.

Posting here to say I'm happy with my new CIII's on Perl. Take-off's from of '06 with 600 miles on them.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050, 235/40 front, 285/35 rear. Fit well.

I had Turbo's on before, and am torn as to which I like better. Good thing is Chewy will be getting the Turbo's.

So I guess that leaves my 3-piece Twists almost ready to sell....

Great looking car! Are front and rear rims 18"? One of the pics makes your car look like it has a hell of a rake.

Those look great on your S4. The color goes well with them and the tire size is perfect.

I installed these recently and checked the weight rating. I seem to recall the fronts were 4200 N, the rears were somewhere between 6000 and 7000 N. With appr. 1920 kilos allowed full weight, the minimum should be 19200 / 4 = 4800 N. So it looks like the fronts are below the max weight rating. Anybody check this or worried about this?

I wonder if the maximum weight rating of the 997 is similar to a 928?

Don't know, but it weighs a little less and it doesn't have 50/50 weight distribution (or does it?)

I posted this on another thread,
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-question.html
but since this thread is about the CIII wheels, I'll also post here that I found these wheels, new, made in Italy, for less than $600 shipped. The vendor was http://www.wheelsandcaps.com/

They don't come with center caps, but I found some nice painted center caps on ebay for $80. They arrived yesterday.

Anyone gone to 235 or 245 on the fronts of the C3 wheels. I currently have 225 on mine and need to buy new tires. The 225 looks to small for the wheel in my opinion.
