Dave and Marc appear to have attended the same school to have such remarkably similar styles.

I talked with Mark a few times and we agreed to a plan and cost yesterday. My wife and I discussed the situation last night and into the morning and due to current discussions/past history/experiences presented by many posters, we have decided not to move forward.

I talked to mark a few minutes ago and although very disappointed, he took it well. I am disappointed and will be rethinking my performance and project goals.

Hmm....the same crank AND pistons as used in Louies monster 580whp 6.5L.....$400 for pistons & $$$$ for crank...thats a good deal for someone?

Sorry your return to rennlist was so short Dave, I guess much hasn't changed here over the years. We can be a sick lot here on rennlist, but we can't help ourselves. And in keeping with our apparent lack of control in believing in conspiracies and the basic aknowledgment that everything happens for a reason, I've got to tell you, and this is merely an observation, nothing meant by it all but just anectdotal, your last response reads like a defamation attorney's dream: 1) it establishes an actual damages figure; 2) it establishes that there was an agreement to pay said actual damages figure; 3) it establishes that you decided not to pay the amount due to what happened here on rennlist; 4) it shows that you conveyed your basis to a potential aggrieved party.

No need to respond as my comments don't bare responding to, they are just some additional comments from the rennlist universe.

I hope you return to 928 ownership soon and find your way to your 400hp goal, its getting easier every day with these cars.
