Hey "BayAreaEngineer" - could we get a simple statement from you to disclaim any involvement in some stupid bogus legal action against one of our fellow boardmembers? If you're here as a simple 928 enthusiast, we figure there's no way you'd be up to bullcrap like that.... right?

Might not be you. Jump right in, make a clear statement that whatever is going on, it's not you (and keep in mind that the admin's have your home IP address...)

So, if you want to stroke a 350 chevy you buy a 400 crank, how do you stroke a 928?

You're just a trouble maker aren't you

I think I am going to go under another name based on this lawsuit, I would find it quite difficult to defend myself on the other side of the pond, so bye for now.

No offense guys, just pointing out an obvious similarity.

I wont mention any other observations.

Good luck to the original poster in the 928 stroker build. I hope it attains the HP and torque objectives you are seeking.

I talked with Mark a few times and we agreed to a plan and cost yesterday. My wife and I discussed the situation last night and into the morning and due to current discussions/past history/experiences presented by many posters, we have decided not to move forward.

I talked to mark a few minutes ago and although very disappointed, he took it well. I am disappointed and will be rethinking my performance and project goals.

I will be leaving this forum. You can email me at: henschdavid@gmail.com. Please use "928" in the subject line.

This still leaves most interesting question open. What exactly is going on in Sterling's case.

Are the 944S2 pistons forged 104mm?

So much for that hope.

Sorry your return to rennlist was so short Dave, I guess much hasn't changed here over the years. We can be a sick lot here on rennlist, but we can't help ourselves. And in keeping with our apparent lack of control in believing in conspiracies and the basic aknowledgment that everything happens for a reason, I've got to tell you, and this is merely an observation, nothing meant by it all but just anectdotal, your last response reads like a defamation attorney's dream: 1) it establishes an actual damages figure; 2) it establishes that there was an agreement to pay said actual damages figure; 3) it establishes that you decided not to pay the amount due to what happened here on rennlist; 4) it shows that you conveyed your basis to a potential aggrieved party.

No need to respond as my comments don't bare responding to, they are just some additional comments from the rennlist universe.

I hope you return to 928 ownership soon and find your way to your 400hp goal, its getting easier every day with these cars.

Yep, this is exactly how I read it too.

What an oddball thread this has become.

All its missing is a cage match and a paying audience. Except I can't figure out who would be in the cage.
