Hint: Find one with left-handed Acme threads on the outer end. I have one, and I'm told they do the job a lot better. The square faces hold up better to thrust loads, and get tighter rather than looser when unscrewed accidentally. Little-known fact.

I just finished checking all 3 of the running 928s and I can't find any of this equipment. Looks like I need to order everything on this list. Great tips - thanks for helping out the newbies!

In the Tulsa area we have a surplus of drivers seat nuts (the one between the steering wheel and drivers seat). If anyone needs one or more, let me know and I'll gladly send them your way.

I think we will need to use the "Sky Hook" to pull the engine first, so we can instal some of these items...

Anyone know where I can pick up a set of cross-drilled brake lines. I need a little more brake cooling.

Same place you get the ventilated calipers and teflon rotors.

Yup I can gift wrap your teflon rotors/cross drilled brake lines and ventilated calipers. I can do you a special on Sky hooks (I do them for a living the rest of the year if you are an Architect)
