Tires too wide want to keep rims 10" need smaller tire
I just purchased two new Kumho Ecsta spt's 275/25/18 ZR-18's.
They will be for sale has 20 miles on them paid $209.00 each
One side fits without rubbing the other is rubbing on the outer thread about a 1/4 inch. The problem is when I purchased the car the Drivers stabilizer link was bent and the tire had cut marks on it. I replaced the bar and both tires assuming it would be fine but after purchasing the tires the drivers side is rubbing over the bumps. It seems the after market body kit is not the same distance on both sides. The drivers side is a little narrower so hence the rubbing. I need to sell these tires and get a narrower tire to fit.
No; I'm not going to sell the rims, trade the rims or replace the rims, and Shawn I don't want your rims
Any feedback on what I can put on this car to clear the wells the shocks are all the way down including spacers on the springs. So before my fiberglass fenders become a thing of the past I need to figure out what to do.

Tampa there are a few things to do B4 you sell off the tires.
First you can move the rear cross member in the chassis it will be 3 bolts per side, 2 at the outer edges and one by the side of the trans mount , Loosen all 6 and then take a big pry bar and pry the Xmember to the other side of the chassis, ( measure the lip first so you know how much it has moved)
Second you can also pull the fenders outwards a bit ,
Third you can roll the inner fenders with a small BB bat and a hair drier to heat the edge so the paint wont crack

Humm will this throw off the alignment?
I believe if I do this the other side may rub, the fenders are fiberglass.
And yes Shawn, there is a difference between both sides

Don't think the fiberglass will take kindly to being messaged with any implements if I read the OP's post correctly.
Sucks to have to step down from 275.

the toe will change as you will be moving the whole rear of the suspension except for the fronts of the lower control arms, the Xmember will move possibly about 1/2 inch total if it is against one side of its adjustment you can tell this before by measuring the edges of the xmember where it sits into the chassis edges, there is a small lip that it fits into this is the edge to pry on measure from the inner lip to the Xmember on both sides

I can't really see what you have other than stock looking S4 style fenders. If they were GTS style, the fit should not be an issue. If it was, change out the spacers.
Yes on the alignment.
On my GTS, I went with a narrower tire and I purposely did this to improve handling. This creates less sidewall flex. Besides, it looks great....give a racey look too. Still, mine are 275/30/19.

I'll do some measuring tomorrow, the shock adjustment are all the way down. I would like to correct the ride hight so it correct. Hate to loose money on brand new tires!
The 275-35-18's are 10.8 inches wide by 25.6 tall.
Looking at 255-40/18 which are 10 wide by 26 tall.
Any suggested sizes; the fronts are 8 inch rims with 225/40's.
Not sure how to analyze this so not to buy another pair that wont fit. Can I measure the offset by going from the hub to inner wheel?

I assume this is what you are mentioning, seems like the cross member is correct. It is butted up to the transmission mount, and notice the shocks.
What would fit a 10" rim I am kind of limited in sizes.

that is a nice picture of the Xmember mounts by the transmission.
the mounts that you want to measure are at the ends of the Xmember there are 2 bolts that hold it to the chassis just above the tops of the insides of the rear wheels.
If you loosen all 6 of the bolts,......... one on either side of the transmission ( not the trans mounts) and 2 on the ends of the Xmember its possible to center/move the wheels tween the fenders
