Now I hope this is not an obnoxious question, but as I get poorer and poorer, saving money gets bigger and bigger, so: is your Web site parts list for used parts current? if not, is it worthwhile sending you a wish list of a few items? Obviously, I'm trying to take advantage of that deadline!

No we do not have a good used one.....91 + climate control. We have only parted out 3-or 4 such late cars.

Jim, I just received the LH ecu for my '87 today. However the unit I received is from an '91. I understand that it could be used on an '87 but it may not be optimum? What need to be changed to make it optimum? BTW, it will be chipped with the Autothourity chip. Thanks.

I've got an '87 unit that I will trade you straight across. I'd rather have the diagnostic chip that's in that unit.

Thanks for the offer. I too prefer the diagnostic capability of the later units. I wanted to know if there are other differences other than the diagnostic capability since the diagnotic feature is included from '88 on, and the part numbers are different between the '88, '89-'90, and '91.

I believe the difference in part numbers is only the chip.

Thanks for the info. I guess since I will be installing an Autothourity chip in it anyway then the part numbers differences do not really matter.

Seriously a good used is nearly impossible to come by and we do not have any currently. That said we get in cars almost every week so who knows what's coming.
