Default 1980 Euro S M28/11 300 hp Engine

Selling a good running engine with flywheel. Almost 200K, Included are P/S pump, alternator, A/C compressor and distributor. Everything but an air filter. Ran great. No funny noises or smoke. Great oil pressure. Could use a reseal to front of motor. $1500

thats a great deal, just for the heads alone! (and you get cams, and intake with a spare short block for free!)

So tempting, but not sure if I can get this past the wife.
Replacing one motor w/ another and they both have 200K on them

I paid about the same for mine and rebuilt it w/machine work for about another 1200.00 - 1500.00 more. It was worth it to me. More power, and knowing everything is good to go for a long time if I attend to the maintenence in a proper fashion. And lots of spare parts!

we did the same thing with scot's before we did the 5 liter. If you can do it yourself, (and a simple rebuild is much easier than pulling the darn thing out) it shouldnt cost much more than head gaskets, rings, rod bearings/rod nuts/ a tube of assembly lube and new timing belt.

See I have a new set of Mahle Euro 95.02 pistons and a new set of rods already

Taylor drill the crank, a gasket kit, and motor mounts would do the trick.

Yep, I'm a looking for a set of cams. Or a left side cam for a 1980 M28/11.

I really only need the one cam. If I was still working I'd buy the whole thing. I'm done til the storms hit again.

I could disassemble it and the pieces would make great stocking stuffers.
