Car looks like it would be a heck of a lot of fun and w/ that 4.7 if you break a belt, no biggie (more than likely anyway)... With the 5spd the car is probably pretty fast too... the write up sure does indicate that it is no slouch! Could be a great deal for someone.

Yes, Brad was one of the good guys when things were good at the shop. Does look well-sorted and ready to go.
really, what is the issue? usuallly, you cant have passengers in the car anyway in PCA, and instructors run with stock cars with stock belts all the time.
if it was raced, the passenger seat wouldnt be used anyway, so what is the issue there?
nasa DE allows passengers for its groups 1-4 as long as you have stock belts and helmets, longsleeves and long pants. I thought PCA had near the same rules.

I meant for DE with instructor. You have to have matching safety restraints and seats in the car and I don't think the 5 point harness with the non-5 point seat will fly.
Isn't Jim Bailey a Tech inspector? Maybe he'll chime in.

Stock belts are fine - those are not stock belts. A harness without a proper seat is very dangerous.
There are other groups besided NASA and PCA for DE. I tend to do the non-PCA events because they allow passengers.
My wife loves these events, she usually finds a car to ride in every session at Road America. She has far more seat time then I do!!!
POC which is close to PCA GCRs need holes in the seat for the shoulder straps. This gutted modified car is beyond the stock classes so the street seat belts would not be legal either or very safe . Many clubs are very laid back about safety issues.....
In the pacific NW, you must have the same style seats and harnesses for both driver and passenger. As well if you have 4+ point harnesses then you MUST have the harness holes in the seats. The 5th point would not be allowed on those seats though.
