Fine art, like fine wine, cannot be rushed.

Getting sponsors to donate for the publicity is not all that easy ....given the very brief play time and the unfortunate choice of the name for the project.

They look better then most 928's on the road.

And far better if I tried to do them myself.

Of course, after installing the new tires, they aligned the wheels with the front jacked up.

It is interesting to see the many different approaches to a similar project, but clearly, as craftsmen, we are not driven by the same thing

I take a lot of time for each project, and try to create pieces with subtleties and custom touches, that will make them special for the owner. At the same time, I try to innovate in terms of design and ultimately also make the construction better than what it was originally.

For example, I never liked the cardboard tuck-in and zipper solution on the early OB seats, as a way to hide the gear assembly for the backrest.

So I came up with this:

That took a bit more time and effort, and it very well might not even be seen by most people. But for those who appreciate the attention to detail, for me, it is well worth it.

I like the two-tone concept, but the center section and piping should be lighter in shade. Better still would be for each recessed stripe-area to be in the side/back color (ala Ferrari Spider seats).
