How many here use the 928 for every day driving?

I drive the hell out of mine, but I have taken the time to fix all the mechanicals first. Also I got a huge MPG jump with switching gearboxes too!

My S4 was my only car for five years, so often I had no car to drive...
A year ago I bought a cheap Smart that needed an engine rebuild, ostensibly for my gf, but it's become my daily driver now. I've only driven the 928 three times since February, once to go to the Ring, then for a three week 4,000 mile trip to Italy and Corsica, and finally for a 928 meet.
Using the Smart saved me enough money to pay for fuel for the Corsica trip, and its so much nicer driving the Smart in London traffic.

was a DD for years. then the maintenance started going nuts as I got more aggressive about cleaning up all the PO/PM stuff, which kept it as a hanger queen for a couple of years. well, I guess a few mods might have had something to do w/the extra time in the shop too, hehehe.
now it's driven on weekends or for AX mostly/once in a while to a client but under 5k/year for the most part. seems pretty happy like that. my mechanic misses me, kinda. seems he's got plenty of 928's to keep him busy though as the fleet ages.
