I can't remember exactly what the problem was. I recollect that one fan was not turning as fast as the others so Mark asked me to send him a new one. I also remember something about the nut that holds the fan on was not tight, or something like that. Mark will have to explain because this was awhile ago and I can't remember anymore.

The fan issue was a bad fan one of four it was loading down the passenger side. Tim replaced it and it is working fine. The other, condenser fan was sent by Tim but apparently the manufacture changed it's design and it can only be set up as puller fan. I reversed the polarity but due to the blade pitch it was not allowing sufficient cooling. I am returning the fan to Tim and am looking at another option.
This first picture is after I installed the new belt and smaller pulley The second is after a test drive I had to tighten the adjustment bolt. Does this look correct?

I had the exact same problem with the condenser fan. I discussed the issue directly with ZIRGO and replaced the kit fan with Model # ZFU16S. It moves 3630cfm and is reversable.(IIRC the kit 16" fan only moved around 2700cfm and was not reversable)

I still have the fan I received with the kit. If Tim is accepting returns on this fan let me know!

Looking at your tension, I would not go any tighter. Seems about right to me.

Here is a pic of where i am running mine at the moment.

This is after I backed it off a little because I feared I was running too tight. If I tighten it to the one credit car width the belts rub each other under the top pulley! I am not getting any slippage at this setting.

Hope this helps.

Hi David,
I will galdly issue you credit for the fan I sent in the kit. Same goes for you Mark and I will look into getting you a replacement. I'm pretty sure those were the only two sent out like this.
I did not realize Zirgo changed the design of the blade until you guys brought it to my attention. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Don't worry about the belts touching; there is a mechanical stop designed into the bracket to keep the belts from coming in contact with each other.

I will email each of you regarding a refund for the fans.

Tim

Thanks Tim for your continued support.

It seems that my belts are almost touching now. How much clearence is designed into the bracket if I measure the distance between the 2 belts at their closest point under the blower pulley?

Thanks again
David

Should be 3-4mm

I just mounted a sc into a bracket on the bench with all the pulleys to verify they can't touch and they do not. The swing arm of the tensioner will hit the sc before the belts make contact. It's close.
