Does anyone have a valid link. The link above doesn't work. Problem is my engine number has been tampered with so I need to find out or tell the difference between the 2 engines. Mine is a K-Jet
Somewhere there is a picture of all the different piston tops. If you could find that you might be able to look at the pistons with a boroscope. I don't think block, heads or cam carriers used different casting numbers, but not totally sure about that.
Finding out what year the block was cast might get you close to knowing 4.5 or 4.7.
There's dated casting information on the back of the block.
You will need to remove the flywheel to see it...
