Letting my shark go. If I find the replacement car I want.
I think my love affair with the 928 is about over. I really enjoy the car and have had a lot of good times with it, but I am not excited about it any longer. I want to get another 65/66 Mustang Fastback. I had one for about 15 years and regret ever letting it go. I know they are not as sophisticated as a Porsche, but I really like them. I don't have the 928 up for sale at this time. I was hoping to find someone with a Mustang who is interested in donig a trade. I know what the 65/66 Fastback's are worth vs. my 84' 928 so I am not expecting a car in showroom condition. If anyone has a Stang they would like to part with or knows someone with one who would like to have a 928 please let me know. My 982 is a 1984 U.S. car with an auto trans. Car has 68k miles on it. Everything works except the A/C which needs a refill. Probably needs some seals since the R-12 leaked out. Dash and pod have the usual cracks ond the drivers seat has a small rip in the seat back. The leather on the rest of the seats is good. PO removed the cat so this will need to be delt with if you live in an emissions testing area. TB has about 20k since last replacement. Visually it looks very good. Car has a salvage title due to a minor fender bender and the PO telling the insurance guy to "write it up big" I have a copy of the incident report that shows what was actually damaged. Very little, but they wrote it off as a total loss. The pic was taken before I got the windows tinted. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sorry to see you go. Show us the stang when you get it. Ya know, so we can all poke fun at it.. I saw a nice Mach1 the other day, even in the neighborhood. Thats a neet car.

Brings back memories. My brother had a '67 289 notchback with the luxury package including pony interior, vinyl roof and factory a/c. What a nice car that was, really wish it was still around. Good luck.

If you stop cutting your hair now, you'll be on your way to a mullett by the time you sell the shark and get a 'stang...lol (just kidding)
Hate to see you go however I have a love for the Mustang and believe it to be the icon of the American sports car so I understand where you're coming from.

Here is a pic of the Stang I had before. It started as a beat up body with no engine when I first got the car. Took about ten years of work as I could afford it to get it to this stage. I'm ready for another.
