You know, the most curious thing has been happening at my annoying neighbor's house recently. Suddenly, the 944 that has been languishing under a car cover for 362 out of 365 days the past 10 years and more has been taken out and driven, polished, cleaned and possibly repaired in the past week or two...

I'm beginning to wonder if Linda plans to join us??? Wouldn't that be a hoot.

Actually, I really hope only one neighbor is annoyed.

It shouldn't be a problem with the rest of the neighbors, as long as we keep the peace and don't hot dog down the street where there are lots of kids. I mean really, unless we break the law, what can they actually do?? Nothing, right?

The rest of the neighbors will probably just consider it a car show that came to them.

I was looking through the website for the picnic site a bit more, and realized there are something like 45 picnic tables in the area where we will be, with barbeques, if anyone cares....and walking paths and I think a playground....plus the basketball hoops we saw ourselves when we were there last weekend. Should be plenty of things to do for everyone!

I'm psyched! Only 2 more days!

Kevin's been "washing" his for two days. Which of course includes detailing the interior and waxing the exterior, and god knows what else...it's gotta be purty!

The weatherman insists it's going to be a beautiful day on Sunday, and I can't imagine anything more fantastic than a parking lot deep in the woods full of gorgeous cars on an exquisite Sunday afternoon!

Nah! I'm not going overboard... I'll be driving several hours on Sunday, so the car is going to need detailing by the time we're done, so I'd prefer to put the effort in after the drive rather than before - the drive tomorrow will just be a quickie.

i don't use maps, i kinda do the fly by the seat of my pants thing. as long as i'm not out front, then i'll be fine.

i worked it out, i should have no issues with being there by 9:30am...yey for some *clears thorat* favors with a coworker.

i wash, wax, vacuum, carpet clean, and finish putting my car together on saturday...just hope i remember to get gas before doing all of it.

you could drive to where i live, if you're NW of philly, it'd be only about 2hrs, then from here to leslies is like an hour and 15mins...less if your up for some back roads along the way.

Barney, it's not a dirt road, it's actually paved, if a little bumpy. But our lowered 928 didn't bottom out once. Granted, you can't go flying on this road. It's not that kind of road. No actual holes in the road though, just very rough.

Dave, yes, meeting at my house!

From 80, it's probably easiest to take 17 north to 4 west, stay to the left at the three way split for 4/208/Saddle River Road, heading towards Paterson. Go past the McDonalds and IHOP at the first light, then make the second right onto 35th street, go the end where it T's, look to your right and you should see a bunch of Porsches parked right there.
