Afshin,

You are all set with the hood alignment.. I gave body man (Walt) a heads up and he would be happy to work that with you.

Dave, In my eagerness, I think I was very close to biting off more than I could chew. I'm sorry to say that we just can't see making it up there this year.

We ourselves have a drive to host and lead the next day, and we can't figure out a way that will allow us to attend your tech session, have a clean car for the drive the next day, and get a reasonable night's sleep for us and our kids in between.

I'm terribly sorry....because we were really hoping to find a way...

However, not to hijack your thread....buuuuut.....[mini hijack]

....merely as an add on attraction for your die hard party guests.

For any of you who are attending the brunch being organized by Porsche928TT above, and then are coming back down this way later on Sunday with the drive that's being planned afterwards...we'll probably not be far from your route south, since we'll be picnicing somewhere in the Bear Mountain Area...

If you're interested, you could stop by our picnic, stretch your legs, and get a chance to say hi to others from this area.

Let me know if you are interested, and I'll arrange to get you some directions....once I figure out where we're going!

Hope some of you can make it!

[/end hijack]

Leslie,
Meeting up on the way back is a GREAT idea. On my way back to the city I usually take the Palisades Parkway, which oddly enough goes right to Bear Mountain.

As soon as I figure out IF there is a return run on Sunday and how many people/cars are going I'll connect with you and arrange some times and physical locations.

Thanks for the great idea!

Leslie,
Sorry your not gonna make it, but I figured it was a long shot with all the other activities in the works.Still looking forward to the ride on sunday though!

Well, Rich, then you no doubt will be going right by us. I'm very sure we will be in a park right off of 9W/202 South...just south of Bear Mountain Park on that road. This weekend we are going for a dry run (assuming it's not raining, then it will be wet run instead) to get distances, times of travel, and the exact location of the picnic location. I'll be able to give you more info next week, early!

I do hope some of you make it!

OK...so I guess no one wants to stay over till Sunday and do a Brunch / ride back to NY/NJ.

How about Arriving FRIDAY night then a dinner?

I'm toying with this idea....any takers?

Is there going to be a meet-on-the-Pike-just-past-495 time for this?

Will the 928 Diag Tool from the OC be there?

Dave C. should have the 928 diag tool shortly, it is being mailed to him after the Frenzy, so it should be there.

The 928 Diag tool also works on 88's.
Unless Dave C. has the adapter? for the earlier LH, I think.

My Hall Sensor failed the 928 Diag. Test so my 928 is retarded.
