Default Wilbraham, MA - Tech Session lV: October 11

October 11th is the date for this year’s tech session in Wilbraham MA. The event is at our home and we will be starting at 10:00 AM and going until whenever the last stragglers feel like leaving :>)

The woodstove will be fired up and there will be plenty of good eats so please feel free to bring your spouse, S/O or friends. We will have at least two supercharged cars in attendance, one of which is my “still-never-been-on-the-track” track car. We usually get 25-30 928’s on the lawn so this is a great chance to see some nice cars and meet some great folks.

We are still looking for tech discussion ideas so lets have some suggestions! At this time the lift is not spoken for so if you have something you wanted to see or do under your car, this may be a good opportunity.

All you need to bring is yourself, a guest and hopefully your car! Drop me an e-mail at dtassinari@accentindustrial.com and I’ll give you the address and phone numbers.

Thanks!

oh yeah

Swapped in a used motor. Of course one hour of run time later it blew a head gasket and hydrolocked but hey, I'm doing this for the fun of it, right ?

Nice brand new engine is in the works.....hope to do the swap this winter. For now the car runs for brief periods and looks good as a static display

Default Wilbraham Tech Session

Tass, sounds great, look forward to coming out. Always makes for a great drive out to western Mass in the fall and GTG with the NE group.

Hey Dave...sounds like fun! So um, how long do you think it would take to drive to your house from the top of NJ? Say, the Tappan Zee Bridge area, if you're familiar with it?

Hey Leslie !

It looks like 140 miles.....up 95 then jump on 91 north. Just a nice morning drive in a 928 It would be great to meet you folks in person

Hey Leslie.
I'm sure if you take Kevin's car you'll make it in about an hour!

Just a thought, but I prefer the 684 to 84 to 91 route from the Tappan Zee bridge. I don't think I have any fond memories of 95. An alternative might be to come up the Wilbur Cross Parkway (or is the name now the Meritt Parkway )

Actually, I'd agree....my first look was a quick google map query to get the milage but Stan is correct, less traffic the other way.

So do we have contingent coming up from that area ?
