maybe i'll go, it's all of 5mins from me.... i dont think i'll run though. i really don't wanna beat on my trans or clutch, nor do i need to run like a 16. sumthing...

If you rev to 1400 RPM and dump the clutch, yea somthing bad might happen.
When the lights change, leave the line slow, then put your foot into it. With steet tires that's all you can do otherwise they spin down the track.
