What a wacky deal, hope it works out for all parties involved. At the least Ross should have some good stories to tell.

Thats what I told him. The deal may not make business sense to some of us, but Ross will remember this trip for the rest of his life. Whether he remembers it fondly or not is entirely up to how he sets his mind. Perception is reality. A cross country trip on a motorcycle is pretty cool. I'm sure alot of us would love to be 19 again and still know what we know now. I sure would have enjoyed my youth alot more.

Good luck on your adventure Whitefox.

I was telling a co-worker of mine that frequents the Corvette forum about this lad and his adventure. I told him that I donated because I want to help make this one in a lifetime experience happen for him. I don't know Whitefox from Adam but if it can't be me, it might as well be him.

God's Speed!!

When I was 19 down deep I knew a lot of what I know now, but I just didn't care to dig that far.

I sent him some $$ to his paypal account. I know of at least two other people that did as well, Cold_Beer and Angel84. There may have been one more, you'll have to look through the various threads.
I also know that a few people have offered sleeping accomodations along the way. Bigs is one of them. Maybe Bigs can teach him all about women while he's in his care.

A gas card would have been a great idea.

lori says:

the fox has landed. he is currently stationed downstairs in my living room. seems like a very nice guy. he's set up with wireless now so let's see if / what he has to say.

ross: if you need anything just knock.

heinrich: it was very nice to meet you and your lady friend. it is good to see you setting a mature example for how our young explorer should conduct himself on his trip. "do as i say, not as i do" right?? boys will be boys...

Lori, it was a pleasure likewise meeting your lovely self as well as our long-time young friend WhiteFox aka Ross. He does seem like a really nice dude. I pray for his safety and I look forward to seeing him tomorrow, when he drops in to say bye. I had fun

I haven't received anything from you Shawn...?! I have received donations from the mentioned above and nicole.

A gas card would be great but I don't know how I would get the card right now?
Paypal works great with the paypal debit card though.

As you can see from the pic I am in Seattle now, had a great time meeting everyone here. Tomorrow I ride out.
