Hotel Information Boston Shark Party Sept.6th
I would recommend the Fairfield Inn. Fortune Blvd. Milford MA.508.478.0900 they have a AAA rate of $89.10 per night, and include full breakfast each morning.
As a back-up, across the street is the Marriott Courtyard @ $101.15 no breakfast.
Their # 508.634.9500
The plan is to check in to the hotel on Friday afternoon, then a cruise to Carl's home in Needham (about 40 min. drive) for a cookout until 10ish, then back to the hotel for the evening. The next morning, 8:30ish, I will lead everyone to Larz Anderson for the "Boston Shark Party". There will be food and drink to purchase there. After the show around 3-4pm, Carl will take everyone on an extended cruise back to my home for dinner, and more socializing. Also, I do have a lift if anyone needs anything. My home is only 7 miles from the Mass. Pike & 15 miles from Rt 95.
Please PM Carl for his Home address and cell#.
Each year we have about 35 928's there.
Thanks...Rick

Like last year, I hope a bunch of 928ers from areas like NY, NJ, MD, PA can come up to the show.
The return drive home Sunday for people should be an easy one too at the end of the weekend.

Sharon's coming. She lost her job for taking Friday off for SITM, so maybe we can lose her new job by taking Friday off for Boston (SITM/job - long story).
I was wondering if we were going to have some chaperons for some late night sight seeing Friday?

Her B&B is a little too far from Boston to be convenient for the weekend. Our hotel idea is the best one, it serves everyone better for access to my house, the show, and Rick's too. Plus it is right near the highways.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again, after a long absence. Still have the TT and it's still working. STILL need a new fuel pump relay and alarm-ectomy. Car Still has under 25k miles. Not bad for a chassis built in 1982!
OK...I am doing my best to be there in the Callaway. Having a bit of a hard time with the clutch adjustment and odd noises. It's better now with the assist of some members posts, but still not perfect.
I will be attempting to arrive Friday and Leave Sunday but that may morph into Saturday and Sunday (or Friday and Saturday)
My schedule sucks. My GF even more so.
See you on the aforementioned weekend!

OK, I'm in!!! Just booked room for Saturday night. I'll be driving in Saturday morning with the Mrs. I'll meet everyone at Larz Anderson auto museum, should be arriving around 10AM, save me a spot!
Is there any registration needed for the museum? Is there a link to the registration information? Thanks, looking forward to a weekend in beantown.

Glen, you can pre register (it should be on the OC web site) or just do it the day of the show. Pretty informal there; coming to my 928 BBQ that Friday night?
