Default I Met a new Shark owner having bad luck today..

I was headed home from town in my Bronco, and saw a nice 86.5 Shark Pulled to the side of the road. I pulled over to see what was going on. A fellow who had just bought this Shark had just smashed the A/C compressor on a manhole cover that was sticking up a few inches above the black top and to make it worse, there was a dip in the road in front of the manhole cover. He was making out a report to the local police. Cut the belt, got it wired up, and He made it home. He was lucky, it didn't damage the engine case, just destroyed the compressor. We exchanged business cards, I told him about this site and e-mailed him some links to the forum, the parts suppliers here, and some other 928 pages.
Guess what I just ordered from 928 Motorsports a few minutes ago?

I got those protector plates too - they have saved my underside countless times, especially since the addition of the Eibach springs, which lower everything about an inch or so.

Nice of you to stop and help him. He should check ride height too and get a bellypan.
