Why don't people like the 928?

On any given Sunday I'll take my pristine 2001 Guard Red 911 Carerra out with windows down and cruise to the local grocery store. No one gives a rats as. However when I take out my 1982 928S Weissach I get no less than 2 compliments with much discussion. Personally I could care less what others think it about--its me that matters. It is amazing that my 928 gets so much attention --especially considering it is a fraction of the cost of what I have in my 911.
