Funny, we're kinda doing the same thing at the same time. But your job makes me a feel a little better about mine. My center actuators were fine. So I did the pod and defrost in the morning, and the evap cleaning, and recirc actuator this afternoon. Got stuck when I couldn't find the damn 3M caulk strip anywhere.
I give you credit. I have a hard time taking alot apart without putting something back together again.\

Your in Fairfax. Cool.

wow, lots of money spent .. I would make a suggestion that you see if you can return all of the vacuum pots for the HVAC and check with Roger he has the parts you really need .. Just the diaphrams as you will wind up tossing all of the other parts away after you remove the diaphrams from the new pots..(Usually you dont have to replace the defroster pot diaphram) Sorry but..
. Keep the heater valve and get a new short hose as well you dont usually replace the heater control valve unless you replace the short hose
Keep the flappy pot for the intake
Also dont connect the battery until the pod is secured and the all of the pod switches are installed..
Goodluck and keep em flying

Stan,
I think Roger only sells the recirc individually. The comb and footwell use the same, or the cheaper of the two.

A year ago after looking at that pic I think I would have just hung myself. After a year of 928 maintenance it really doesn't seem that bad anymore

Nice floor!

I think your on the right track doing it all. I have had to replace most of my pots (at different times) and was trying to think today which ones are left to do. My vacuum is good at the moment, but tomorrow "quién sabe"

That's nothing! You seem to have everything under control.

And after...

Congrats to Dan. I would have killed myself sometime during this process.

Hmm..deja vu..last week. Went back together within a day. Agree with Mrmerlin, it is easier to replace just the diaphragms.

Maybe running copies the the applicable PET manual pages would help as well....worst thing to do is get intimidated and quit.

Make sure to get a couple babyfood jars for all the extra fasteners.
