I was talking about the compressor. I should have quoted him I suppose.

Tarek is in need of a 79 compressor. I'll ask him if he wants this one.

Edit: I spoke w/ him. He said thanks, but no thanks. He's got it covered.

Air using ester oil: 160 Cc =5.5 Oz
Evap=35%=1.5 Oz
Cond=15%=1 Oz
Comp/Lines=50%=3 Oz

Seems a little low I thought it was 8 Oz total of Ester oil system is now being flushed.

Any feedback?

Tampa, on the expansion valve problem, Kevin said to tell you that if he remembers correctly, under those lines, there's a bracket that holds the lines to the fire wall -- take that off. Then you remove the fuel cooler right out of the way, and you should be able to get the valve out then.

Hope this helps!

Two issues:
One of the oil return line bolts in the top of the pan is stripped has anyone repaired these with out removing the oil pan?

There is a issue with the condenser it is too far over to the Drivers side and the lamp motor is hitting it. Looks like there is a cooler with two hoses connected to it in the front air dam area. Is this part of the air pump if so can I remove it?
I can reroute the hoses if need be to allow for the condenser to move over.
Any feedback?

Just drill the return line out and either retap to a larger size, or heli-coil it.

The cooler you mention should be the auxilliary trans coolers on a Euro, so not advisable to remove it.

Can we get a pic of the condenser where it's hitting the lamp motor? We have an 85 euro here to compare with it.

I'll take a picture it in the morning!
I can't get a drill on the bolt hole without removing the pan. I want to get it off my lift until I have time to do the MM and gasket, a Temp fix is in order.
Sae bolt and red locktite maybe?

Milwaukee's close quarter right angle drill will get in there, but if you don't have that, Kevin had success once getting a quarter by 20 tap in there and tapping it out then using that size bolt. You'll probably have to remove the oil cooler and drill it out too so the bolt passes through it.

Mark, you can use a longer bolt. There are most likely some good threads still down in the bottom of the hole.

Here is the condenser and how the Headlamp motor is rubbing on it. I can shift the condenser over a bit but will have to reroute the Transmission cooler hoses.
I'm not sure what took place the brackets were loose.

Got the oil leak fixed, John put the wrong bolts too short, but had to remove the alternator again to get at it. When will the insanity stop, and my back is killing me. Never mind my new Porsche is sitting in the front yard calling me.

Any one on the condenser location or at least a picture of a Euro and it's placement.

Oh,

One headlamp is loose and pivots looks like a pin is disconnected, can't really see it unless I remove the well Etc. This I'm sure is used for the headlamp adjustment any one have a diagram or know how to repair this?

There's a **** on the side of your seat with 1-2-3 on it and a picture of a headlight. It is the height adjuster. That pivot snaps in to the bottom of the headlight bracket into a ball socket. Remove the headlight bracket's four bolts from the aluminum bracket. Snap it in and reinstall the 4 bolts.

The vacuum source is probably also disconnected for federalization purposes near the master cylinder.

Tampa, I'm working on uploading some pics from Kevin's 85 Euro for you right now. Give me a few minutes, they are coming up. (*friggin dial up* )
