Look at this 85 euro damage to bell housing
I need to get a lower bell housing or a way to hold fly wheel it in place to remove pulley. As you can see the housing was broken and Air pump was bypassed by P.O.
If I delete the pump as it is now would it make any difference?

We were at SITM, at the 928 Specialists compound.
There were a bunch of parts in a pile for disposition, with people picking-thru.
Several bell housing covers. Somebody says "why would anybody ever need one of these? How could it ever break?"
Maybe Jeannie still has one left for you.

In the short term, it is no big trick to cut a piece of Al or steel plate to index over the good upper hole .... and tap into the existing bell housing - ie., a patch repair: just use longer bolts to secure the crank lock, and it will work.
Air tools are fine for removing the crank bolt .... but it is nice to have it locked down for correct torquing on reinstallation
