1991 928 S4 Time Capsule - 21k miles
There is an all black 1991 928 S4 near where I live, with only 21k miles on the odo.
I got a chance to peek inside, and listen to the engine purr smoothly (just got new TB, WP and LH). The steering wheel leather was not one bit shiny. Even the hands in the analog clock were still orange!!!
The owner might be willing to sell, as he really doesn't drive it and it just takes up room in his home. This could bring me as close to owning a new 928 as I'd ever be! If it had a classic grey interior, I would be all over it...
Either way, I'd have to sell my baby first to be able to afford this... and the GTS mirrors, wheels, and other stuff I would want for it.
Anybody here interested in this or mine?

Gee Nicole,
I'm a little surprised that you would consider selling your S-4. It is one of the nicest examples of a 1991 S-4 with some very tasteful upgrades Although, I will admit, the neighbor car sounds very tempting

Go for it Nicole! You will love having a time capsule, they are so amazing to drive, work on and enjoy. Just realize that there may be a few maintenance items to tend to regardless of the low mileage, especially things like the oil pan gasket.
If you don't go for it I hope someone on the list snags it.

These low 20K mile cars in pristine condition are TREMENDOUS. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on and driving (what little I get to drive it) my wife's '88. It's as close as most of us will get to owning and enjoying what these cars were like when new. I say go for it!
