Default Holbert Dyno run July '08

since the engine is staying in the car, I just had to know if the engine has been getting soft. It looks like I've found 8 of the 20hp lost, so It might just be old age of the Holbert engine. Not bad after almost 7 full racing seasons /101 race days!
compression is still 190psi a hole, so i dont know where the loss might be coming from. a coast down test showed almost no HP loss, but the dyno operator didnt want to mess with the print out. He gave me a cheap run, so i didnt argue. I also banged off the rev limiter to see what that looked like. sure didnt feel good! kind of scary, like something could break! So, it looks like revlimiter on an S4 is 6500rpm

306 RWHP for 2 out of the 3 runs (first and last, no cool down)

Old dyno run from 1995 Devek 6 liter stroker "stock" S-4 made 318 HP and 348 ft lbs torque. The old Devek 6.5 of that era was at 407 hp , 460 torque with head work , and exhaust.
