Wow you guys are great. Know what your talking about clearly. Thanks alot.
My first 928..and it is originally a 78 US model. But has had a new engine fitted in 96 from a S which is a factorybuilt new one, and exterior is "S". Still like it alot, just like the S4 *** better:-)

I concur with Dan on this one! LEAVE IT ALONE... If you want an S4 get and S4, but don't screw up a perfectly good OB (and for me that does NOT INCLUDE the S models...OB is Original Body... S is S2/S3, S4 and GTS are obvious)...

It will also make a lot of good ideas worthwile...
Taxation laws really is both a good and a bad thing: Bad because newer cars are expensive, good because it triggers people to upgrade their cars and just not go and buy a new one. The tuning/modification hobby is growing here and that is a good thing in my opinion. It is easy to buy a fast car, but it is much more stimulating to build one from an old car.
As an example, if Kaj should import a 1987 S4, he would have to pay Norwegian government over $24K in tax. A 1978 can be imported as a veteran car for almost nothing. You can upgrade that 1978 a lot for $24K.

I have deceided to leave it alone. And, if I really wanted the S4 look, I know I could buy it...That was a given, and for everybody very logic.
I want to keep it the way it is, because after concideration, I found that it is more raw than the newer one. Does anyone know how to "tighten" gearshifts?
I did it on a 944 once, but cant remember. I work as a motorjournalist, and the other day I tested the CGT for a newspaper. The owner brought his 997 GT3 RS too....Some people just have too much money. As soon as I figure out how to post pics I will.
Thanks.

Picture of my shark, and the CGT-story.
And my mixup, the store that helped the owner import the CGT, brought a Ferrari 360, a Lotus Exige and a Porsche 997 GT3...not RS, to the photoshoot.
