Parting out 1985 928s- What parts do you need?
Hello Friends-
I'm building a pushrod v8 hot rod out of my burgundy 928..... I am selling :
the complete interior (minus steering wheel and pedals).
Window regulators
All Glass (not the windshield)
Compressor , condensor, Climate control head, and all related heating and cooling components, fan, flaps, and actuators, all lines and hardware as well.
EZK ignition brain
MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR
Airbox
Belt driven fan and electric fan
Torque Tube in excellent shape
Fuel tank, pump, and related hardware
Sunroof assembly, complete and functional
Air pump and related hardware
I have 3 fuel injection harnesses also

I think he has a plasma cutter in hand .... might as well move the engine back a foot or so !! use the 9 inch axle. No point in only going half way

Not only that, but it's expensive... I would probably keep the 928 drivetrain and put a renegade hybrid mount setup in there instead of the c5 trans... Too time consuming. The ford rear is the best choice I think... It's cheap and there are tons of them out there. The only thing that bugs me is the bump that will be there from the bell housing.... But it's ok, I'm ripping the car apart anyway, and I'll just fab up a new tunnel to clear the turbo 350.... Jegs sells a circle track motor that's 13.5:1 for less than $4000.... It's going to be evil. I'm going to route the exhaust out through the body right in front of the rear wheels..... No hood scoop or anything, just sleeper mode, other than flares and the loud noise.

Nope. It's still sitting in the garage, complete with valves, springs, etc. I didn't really try. Aside from the components on it, I consider it scrap.
