Here's the link to the book I found. Looked a bit through the PDF and the pics alone are awesome. http://www.curtperedina.com/project928.pdf I agree though the printed version would be much better. Hum maybe the work printer needs a work out

I downloaded the Project 928 PDF and have to say I am glad I never shelled out the big bucks for the hardcover version. Although it has some great material within, it still seemed a rather cursory overview and definitely not the "definitive" text on the 928. In fact the author himself describes his own work as a "picture book" with supporting text. We may never see a "definitive" book because as time goes by the people directly involved in the development and evolution of the car are dying off and source documents are being lost or forgotten.

Joe,
If you are a member of the PCA you can order a copy of "Up Fixin IV" which has some articles about the 928 in it's latter development and early marketing. Again, it isn't all encompasssing but it does have a lot of useful information about the early 928's. Also, in the late 90's Kim Crumb wrote a lot of good articles for the Panorama magazine about the 928 and it's evolution.

Seems they always end up selling for WAY beyond what my memorabilia budget will allow. At least now with the pdf I'll get a look!![jumper](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/jumper.gif)
and so the mystique of the 928 lives on!
