Default Got a little piece of 928 history

Don't know if this is rare or not, but I thought it would be nice to add to my collecton of 928 literature. Enjoy.

I bought that same exact mag on ebay a couple of months ago. I found an article about fuel costs that was pretty interesting...oh yeah and the 928 reading was cool too!

That is cool! I'm glad they continued to update the lines, the car looks far more modern in it's final iteration than it would have if they left it like that.

Oh & Tires for $18 bucks, jeez.....

The side drawing look just like a early RX7. Cool read though!

The last one is the 924; your eyes are about as bad as mine because i can't make out the month and year of that issue. (-%

Tino,

The issue is dated November 1975. You are right about the last one being a 924. Project 924 (VW poject EA425) was finished by the Porsche engineers in 1973 IIRC then bought back from VW in 1975.

Porsche history at its finest. You are lucky to have snared that mag. Just wonder how many iterations of the basic design there were till they settled on the original OB ??? Anybody have any more? Would love to see them.

Thank goodness Porsche didn't actually go with that awkward C pillar styling!

I've been wanting that one too Sean. It just seems to be crazy expensive when I do find it. I heard rumors of a PDF of it. Anyone?

I've got the PDF also, I'll shoot it to disk when you come down. Not as good as having the real thing. I got lucky and got my copy for $150.00 on e-bay. Rog has several copies that he picked up for $300+ I got lucky.
