I was out cruising downtown for Cruise Night....unfreakingbelievable! I was the only P-car, though. 75 degree weather brings the people out in droves.
Now, I'm going to bed....meeting a couple of other 911's at 6:30am to blast up Palomar Mountain. Hopefully, we don't smack any motorcycles! From last weekend....

Sorry Jason, I have to rub salt in your wound. Here's this morning, started out at 5:30am to meet up with a 997 Turbo, a 996 Turbo, 3 996's and two M3's. We ran up Palomar Mtn, and back down past Lake Henshaw, up thru Mesa Grande to have breakfast in Julian. About 120 miles for me. All I will say is there are 7 other drivers that have a new found respect for air-cooled 3.2 Carreras. Or, at least one '84.
We had some 110+ straights thru the valleys, where I may have been slightly underpowered, but on the twisties, Ruby had no superiors.

I don't know what to do today.
Yesterday was eventful. Put a replacement blower motor on an '88, worked on it's A/C, fiddled with the vac on it, gerry rigged the Recir flap. Tried to align it and found that the track was the same on front and rear so with the method we use (Earls method) we couldn't complete it. Talked to Dr. Bob on the phone (Thanks buddy) and decided I'm math stupid, and he has a brilliant mind.
Aligned a '78. I like those early 928's and Rog decided this one will stay as part of his collection.
Herman came to pick up his cherry '94 GTS after a few months of storage and it fired right up. Then quit on him.....weird issue. The car doesn't want to go back home to S. Texas. I lost the keys 2x on it in as many days. (no, I was not drinking) I should be over at Rogs right now helping fix it, but Rog has grounded me to my home for the day.
Got to ride in Sterlings car and no, it didn't scare me, I was not pale, I was thrilled. That car is a beast. I want a stroker in my car now more than ever.
Today I've had 4 cups of coffee, should be working on my car. Instead I just brushed my puppy and there is now hair all over the garage. Feel the need for an Amp energy drink, that might keep me awake through the NASCAR race. Figure that my phone will blow up any minute from Sterling/Justin/Brad and then Roger telling me that I'm ungrounded and need to come back to work.
Life is good.

Oh, I look at Ed's pictures and feel the need for a spirited drive through the hill country, but those are 4 hours away and will be there next weekend. Problem is, won't be taking the P-car. Something about taking 2 dogs, a kid and a wife.

If the rain didn't wash it away, I'm sure there are 4, 1.5 foot black marks that start at a sweeping angle, on to the shoulder, stop about 100 feet out, then begin again for another 100 feet in a straight line. Roughly $50.00 worth of rubber.
