The '92, '88 and '84 would be good ones to do stuff like that to. The '81 would stay stock restored (different stereo though) and the '94 would stay stock completely...
Thanks for the comments. The wood kit was already installed when I bought the car. I'm pretty positive that the previous owner said the shifter came from Jager Engineering. I just looked at their web site, and it looks like they sell the wood kit, too. They also have a carbon fiber kit, which I'm sure would look great in these cars. Have a look.

Rick,

Thanks. I have bought some stuff from them but have not been to the web site in a long time. I'll check it out. There might be some stuff there I just HAVE TO HAVE! LOL!

Great car!

, LOL.

Darien, I can't wait to see the pics of your new ride. And feel free to hijack my threads anytime, . It's all good. I love this car, and I love the color.

You live in a beautiful part of the country, so I'm expecting some great scenery in the background of your photos.

FYI, I may be in Vegas in early September. We should meet and have a couple of cold beverages. On me.

I hope you enjoy many happy miles in your beautiful new '88 S4.

Kind regards,

Rick

Default Felsengruen

Sometimes I just look out in the garage and stare at it.

Edit: This is the same car that is in my current Avatar. The color looks different depending on the light source. Looks grey to me in my garage, but green in my avatar.

Default One more

Here is a pic of a 2004 Vette Coupe Auto next to my car. I got to borrow it a couple of weeks ago from a guy here at work who needed to borrow my truck. I'll have to post a new thread with my driving impressions.

Side molding delete as well as rear type designation delete (e.g. 928 S etc) were no cost delete options for all model years (if you ordered the car's build).

Thanks, its always interesting to see color combinations which are bit unusual. Seat piping in contrasting color seems to be especially rare option outside UK.
