The front spoiler is a pricey item. New from the big 3 is about $550. I see one on ebay for about $500 with shipping. I need one too. Mine is hanging on with zip ties.

Broken TT shaft?

I think the bad tire/rim is from off-roading. Low tire pressures, or something else caused this?

Would the back end swing around if the (weak S4 ) TT shaft snapped while braking heavily?

if the ABS is not working, you might have lots of rear brake bias. Easy to lock up the rears.

The fact that you're going through lots of tires seems indicative of a larger problem and probably where you want to focus. Is the TT broken like Ken asks? Could you have some suspension issues that need to be looked at - forgeting the accident for the moment? Get some pics posted so folks can help you!

BTW I got the front spoiler recently too..pricey ($525 from Roger) but looks better with. Any chance insurance will cover you for all this?

The other time i replaced them first cause of wear and I got 4 new Fusion tires then I had a cut in the front tire replaced that one then the rear left one cause it was down. Seems my shark is hungry for tires. Their has to be a logical reason for this other than this its a pretty good shape just my tires have been most expensive thing so far. Knowing my luck the next time something happens it will be all tires blowing out while the 2 rear side windows break while the T-belt snaps.

This comes to mind....."How to Make a Bootlegger Turn
A bootlegger turn is a stunt, often seen in movies, done by a car. A car comes hurtling towards a roadblock, then swerves on the spot in a 180 degree turn and starts going back the other way. If you have ever wanted to do that, this will show you how to do that. Make sure you read the warnings so that you don't crash your car. This is not dangerous as long as you do it correctly and in an open space.

[edit] StepsDrive along in your open space until you reach about 50 mph.
Yank on the handbrake and turn the car whichever way you prefer. The handbrake should cause the brakes to lock.
After the brakes have locked, release the handbrake. Essentially you should be just pushing down the releasing the handbrake straight away. Keep the wheel turned in the direction you are going.
When your car is pointing in the direction you want to go, (release the handbrake) straighten out the wheel and push on the accelerator.
If you are in the direction you want, your car hasn't flipped over and you haven't broken anything then you will be going in the opposite direction you were going in before. ...." The "Emergency brake" is really a hand brake / parking brake and not something you should need or want to use to stop a car. All cars since the late 1960s have used dual piston master cylinders so brake failure takes out only half the brakes .

Those design 90 wheels are cast alloy and NOT all that strong where a forged S / S-4/ GT will bend with a hard hit the cast wheels being brittle just break . We have nearly all the parts good used that you might need. Have your mechanic list what he needs and give me a call. The car is FAR from dead based on what I see.!

My mechanic told me that my shocks were all messed up. I don't if they were already messed up before or cause of this, but that could mean why my tires were always wearing out real bad??

DoooD! That's some carnage there. Glad you're okay. Doesn't look too bad though, considering. A couple of nicks on the undercarraige shouldn't be a biggie.

Be sure your mechanic replaces that RR wheel bearing along with whatever else is being done. The bearing is large but will not stand up to that kind of punishment.

Worn shocks = UPGRADE time.

Do a search to find all the opinions on Stock vs. Bilsteins vs. Konis shocks.
May consider springs if that interests you since the labor charges will already cover
assemblying the shock/spring units.

Well. got back from the shop the CV Joint is compelely gone. My mechanic says when i was in the ditch and I tried to put it in reverse and rev it out it might have really damaged the transmission. I think I'm looking at quite some damage here.

928 International will get you a transmission for an affordable price.... Just add ATF

Same for the CV joints. Look into a Bilstein/Eibach or Koni/Hypercoil suspension as an upgrade. Oh and you may want to find a place that uses a Hunter DSP laser alignment machine for your car so you will never have to worry about abnormal tire wear for miles to come.
